The learning projects have been planned by teachers from across the Trust as a result of the Partial Opening Phase of the Coronavirus Outbreak in the UK. Each learning project follows a specific theme (e.g. Minibeasts) and signposts you to many excellent online resources as well as engaging activities to complete at home!
Our Year 1 project packs provide daily tasks in the following key areas linked to the National Curriculum:
- The wider curriculum e.g. Geography, History, Art
- Outdoor Learning Challenge
Our aim is that these activities are engaging, fun and practical whilst being easy for you to access at home by following the hyperlinks.
As a Trust we are committed to providing feedback to those using these resources and we would love to hear how your children engage with the learning projects. For feedback to tasks or to ask any questions about the learning projects please email FFTYear1@firstfederation.org.uk – please ensure work is named and you child’s school is specified in the email.
We look forward to hearing from you,
The Year 1 Virtual School Team.
