Welcome to the Year 6 Home Learning page by the FFT Virtual School. Here you will find weekly home learning projects for children in Year 6 classes across our schools.
He opens one eye,
and looks at the sky.
He hears the letterbox rattle,
and dashes to it to begin the battle.
Barking, yapping and growling,
he sits at the door and begins howling.
Never had you heard such a noise,
as the battle in your ears deploys.
At last it stops, and down he drops.
Back to sleep he goes.

These learning projects have been planned by teachers from across the Trust as a result of the Partial Opening Phase of the Coronavirus Outbreak in the UK. Each learning project follows a specific theme (e.g. the Environment) and signposts you to many excellent online resources as well as engaging activities to complete at home!
Our Year 6 project packs provide daily tasks in the following key areas linked to the National Curriculum:
- The wider curriculum e.g. Geography, History, Art
- Outdoor Learning Challenge
Our aim is that these activities are engaging, fun and practical whilst being easy for you to access at home by following the hyperlinks.
