Year 6 pupils at Chudleigh Knighton Primary School hosted a visit from local MP and Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Mel Stride on Friday.

Organised by Headteacher Simon Westwood to follow on from the learning pupils had done about British values, which included the democratic process, Mr Stride spoke to pupils in Year 6 about his roles as an MP and cabinet minister, and answered questions on a range of subjects including farming and the environment.
